What does Clear actually do?

Clear specifies, installs, services and monitors water and air purification for buildings. The systems sit in the mechanical room and treat the whole building rather than individual units. We handle the assessment beforehand and the servicing, testing and monitoring afterwards.

How does an engagement start?

With an assessment. We test the building's water through accredited lab partners and, for air, take a zone-by-zone baseline. Nothing is specified before we know what the building actually has.

How long does installation take?

Point-of-entry systems are in-line and have a low footprint, so retrofits are typically completed without shutting the building down or entering individual units. The exact window depends on the mechanical room and is confirmed at survey.

Do we have to pay for it upfront?

For new developments, no. There are no upfront payments and costs are spread over multiple years. For other property types we will set out the options at assessment.

Clear does. Installation, scheduled servicing, lamp replacement and testing are part of the programme. We typically recommend servicing every six months and we perform it.

The system monitors itself continuously. When a reading deviates, an alert reaches Clear and your operator at the same moment — instantly, not at the next inspection. Response is part of the programme.

Clear operates across North America from offices in Toronto and Miami. The underlying Atlantium UV platform is deployed in more than 5,000 installations across 60+ countries, in property types from schools to apartment buildings and condominiums.

Yes. The Atlantium platform is used by manufacturers including Nestlé, Fiji, Coca-Cola and Pepsi. Clear is the only company to translate those industry-grade systems to the residential market.

Clear was founded after our CEO personally experienced a severe waterborne illness. That journey led to a deep investigation into biological risks in drinking water, and to the discovery of UV purification as a safe, centralised solution.

Unlike filtration or chemical treatments, Clear uses the same UV technology trusted in industrial and municipal settings to neutralise biological contaminants, without altering the water's taste or composition. Clear is also not simply an equipment provider — servicing is a large part of what we do, and we are dedicated to keeping your system at optimal efficiency.
